Sewing Archive // Happiness is Handmade

Something about sewing is very therapeutic to my soul. Especially when I successfully make something for myself, with my own style. Sewing makes me learn about embracing the imperfection side of me with full of love.

I chose sewing as a past time, because I feel I need an escapism where I won't compare myself others. Sewing makes me realized that I have my own charm that I need to work on instead of comparing myself to others. Do you have this kind of philosophical hobby too?

So here I am gonna save, make an archive about the sewing results that I accidentally keep in form of photograph.
A 'Pinafore' Apron for Aul

Made out of cottonic fabric with decent length. It had one pocket to help the wearer keep their kitchen notes closeby.

I made this out of curiosity, and initialally it was for me. Then realising I want someone else to wear it instead of me, because I felt an immense joy making it.

This apron might look too childish to someone else. But hey, we wear it only in the kitchen, though? A place where you can be all yourself safely.

Aul sent me a video of her wearing this and reviewed it on her snap. Tbh, she looked cuteeee TT i do hope this come to her liking! Thank you so much for appreciating my sewing since day 0 Aul ♡

Bag of Luck! Sashiko for Kak Rabithah

The cutest drawstring pouch I'd ever made! So this pouch is made from two fabric scratch: beddings and crepe fabric that I used for my pictorial background.

I forgot the exact size, but it's super spacious to store many items. Be it skincare, toiletries, or other little stuffs that need storage. I had ever made one and it fits for so many things. When I told this on my WhatsApp account, Kak Rabithah wanted one. And it duplicated to three items kekeke.

You can just easily bring it everywhere without any fuss. The drawstring can be used as a hanger, so you can it hang it nearly anywhere. Even if the toilet has no place to hang, you can hang it on the door knob. Super efficient. Super practical.

I also made the bottom design is in box-shape, so the user can organize the stuff neatly. With the beddings cover, it has better barrier from water droplets prevent it from easily getting soaked.

Soon to update...
